Give your mind, body, and gut some love this summer with this refreshing cocktail recipe. It tastes like summer in a cup! You can also feel great about your happy hour knowing you are fueling your gut with probiotics and helping avoid a hangover by hydrating watermelon juice..my absolute fave!
The following recipe makes 2 cocktails:
- ½ cup kombucha (I love Bear’s Fruit strawberry jalapeño for this drink but any Kombucha will taste great!)
- ½ cup watermelon juice
- Squeeze of fresh lime from1 lime
- Slice lime and fresh mint, torn as a garnish or added to the drink
- 1oz desired alcohol of your choice (Tequila or Vodka would go best with this)
Avoiding alcohol? This makes a great mocktail as well! You can even put the ingredients (sans alcohol) in popsicle molds for a refreshing treat.
