If you’re anything like me, I am terrible at taking supplements. I'm very much someone who needs a routine to make sure that I take my vitamins and supplements every day. Especially with my schedule, it's so easy for me to forget and get caught up in my day.This is not to say that I haven't fallen off the routine wagon, but I will share what I do to stay on track so that I consistently feel good from the inside out and remember to take all that I need!
I take a daily multivitamin with omega-3, a fiber supplement, probiotics, and collagen. I'm a morning person, so I like to start my day with a light breakfast and a hot coffee or tea. I'm not a big breakfast person (unless it's brunch on the weekends), but love having smoothies in the morning.
I will usually prep by putting all of my fruit and spinach in a reusable stash bag or glass container so in the morning, I can just grab my ingredients, add my collagen, fiber and probiotics, and throw it into my Vitamix. The fiber and probiotics are in capsules, so it's super easy to just open the capsules and pour them into my smoothies. If I don't make a smoothie, I'll make a simple yogurt parfait with granola and berries and mix my collagen, fiber, and probiotics into the yogurt. For the vitamins that aren't capsules, I'll follow with a big glass of water. Regardless if it's a smoothie or small breakfast, I like to take all of my vitamins and supplements at once so I don’t forget.
