Essential oils are the immune system of the plants. These are the wonderful fragrances we smell when we smell a flower, tree or bush. The reason that plants are not dying from viruses and bacteria is because the essential oils have antimicrobial activity. Try to use essential oils regularly and you will see how much stronger your immune system is. 

Here are some remedies to protect you from the cold and flu.

Bath

Fill a bath with warm water. Add 2 cups of Epsom salts to the water as you are filling it up. Then add the following Essential Oils:

  • Tea Tree - 5 drops
  • Lavender - 2 drops
  • Thyme - 2 drops

Or

  • Tea Tree - 2 drops
  • Eucalyptus - 1 drop
  • Lemon - 3 drops
  • Thyme - 2 drops

Massage

Massage this oil into the chest and back. Take one teaspoon of massage oil and add the following essential oils:

  • Tea Tree - 2 drops
  • Eucalyptus - 3 drops
  • Rosemary - 2 drops

Room Diffuser 

Add the following oils into a room diffuser:

  • Thyme
  • Lavender

Steam Inhalation

  • Tea Tree
  • Thyme
  • Lavender
  • Clove
